One of our desires for retirement was to do some traveling. We signed up for the NEA travel program and when a good deal comes our way, we jump on it. We had no intention of spending a week in Mazatlan in May (2023) but with a deal of $100 at an all-inclusive resort, we could not pass it up. With no agenda, we laid around and soaked up the sun and cocktails. In July (2023), we celebrated our 47th Anniversary by spending a week in Las Vegas. This was another NEA promotion that we could not resist. Staying right on the strip, we walked to most of the venues even with 100- degree heat. Several shows, museums, and other adventures later, we returned home to our mountain retreat.
